Matthew Daniel Green has a long track record of successes for his students since his first assignment teaching at the Bregenzer Musikschule in Bregenz, Austria, to the preparatory division at the New England Conservatory of Music. Students have garnered acceptances at top undergraduate programs including Eastman, Peabody, Boston Conservatory, The Steinhardt School at New York University, the Hartt School of Music, Berklee College of Music, and others.
The legacy of some of the greatest teachers in history is available to you. Matthew Daniel Green studied with a long list of masters including Aaron Rosand, George Neikrug, Rudolf Baumgartner, Masuko Ushioda, Gunars Larsens and others. Adding to the rich palette of available knowledge are masterclasses attended, given by Nathan Milstein, Clayton Haslop, and Miguel Negri. Intensive training in paedagogy was passed on to Mr. Green from Magdalena Richter, the Chairperson of the String Department of the preparatory division at New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts.
Using a revolutionary method which sets up beginning students in the third position helps new students achieve a very solid foundation. Drawing on a wealth of knowledge from a number of brilliant artists gives advancing students the firepower to pass important auditions. Adult learners at all levels are also welcome and encouraged.
Lessons are available in the region of Southwest Florida including Fort Myers, Punta Gorda, Bonita Springs, Lehigh Acres, Immokalee, Alva, LaBelle, and Clewiston. One hour lessons are at a rate of $75.

"Mr. Green is very patient and kind and will go over music with you until you get it right. He does not let you give up, and he does not give up on you. He is a very good teacher and everyone should take lessons from him!" And from Charlotte's parents: "Mr. Green is a really special person and an extraordinary teacher. He is both patient and friendly while also encouraging our daughter to push herself to succeed. We were so lucky to find him when she was six and expressed an interest in learning the violin. Now, almost four years later, she has a love of both classical music and the violin!"

Mr. Green has been my violin instructor for almost four years. He has the ability to teach all levels, from beginner to a more accomplished student. From age five to eighty, he easily teaches to the individual’s needs.
